Google’s Wonder Wheel for Niche Research
By Marika on Jul 10, 2009 in Blog Tips
Google has a bunch of nifly research tools, among others my favorite, their External Keyword Tool, and they seems to come up all the time with more and more gadgets, like their latest, the Wonder Wheel.
This cute little tool really can help you dig deeper and drill down in your niche research. But how do you get this tools, as it’s not very obvious from the Google search page.
Well, first go to the Google search and type in anything, say ‘lack of sleep’. You will get your search results as usual. On the left side you will have a small link called ‘Show Options’. By clicking on that, you will get a drop-down list, and the Wonder Wheel is right at the bottom of the list (second from the bottom). Click on it and you will find a nifty little wheel with your keyword in the middle and several related keywords on its orbit, surrounding it.
Click on one of these links, (if you chose for your experiment ‘lack of sleep’, you can click on ’sleep apnea’, and you will be digging down into the realms of sleep apnea. Keep clicking, keep drilling down and finding those cool gems, directly from Google.

Thanks for the tips. This is something new to me.
