If you want to have Adsense on your sites, check out this plugin

I’ve just discovered something nifty that is perfect for niche sites that are using Adsense. It’s called Adsense Preview and you can find it here.
Now what does this little plugin do? Well, niche sites seem to be the latest rage. All the new internet marketeers are into creating niche sites that bring in Adsense revenue for one major reason: easy money. And it’s true. I mean who wants to create huge authority sites like the Problogger and such? Having 10 small niche sites instead, each with its own little Adsense code that brings you money while you sleep is much more tempting. Plus let’s face it, authority sites need lots of work, time and investment. Niche sites, well, don’t, at least not so much.
So having said that, I think I’m talking to the majority of my readers here, so this tool is really a useful little thing. Let’s say you create your site and you want to add Adsense code to it to get the molah coming in. Well, before you actually add the code, don’t you want to know whether your page will bring in some revenue or not? Whether your keywords are targeted for the ads you’re gonna serve? Google is fickle and if you keep showing irrelevant ads that noone is clicking on your site, you will get penalized.
So what this little tool does, is simply gives you a preview of what ads will be served on your page based on your content and keywords. All you need is to install it from here, restart Firefox and you will see a new Adsense Preview button on your toolbar at the very top (where you have File, Edit, History, etc, it’s going to be the last option). So go to your targeted page (or site) and click on Adsense Preview. You will have an option for the ad size you want to (pre)create. Select the size and that’s all really. In a second or two you will have a preview of the ads that Google pulls to your site. Now you know if your page is targeted enough for the keywords that you are trying to rank for. I mean if you’re in the meat slicer market and you have ads about contact lenses, that’s bad.
I’ve just check this very site with the Adsense Preview and the ads were all targeted around Cyprus. Well, doh, no wonder since even the domain is relevant to Cyprus, my location. That’s why I don’t even have Adsense on my site as it’s not targeted enough. I’m not focusing on one small area of internet marketing here, this site is my ‘online diary’ for everything that I want to talk about related to my journey to become a full time internet marketeer.
Now let’s see one of the sites I sold recently, affiliatestips.com. As you can see from the screenshot below, the site targets nicely what is ment to target: the affiliate niche, link building - bringing in traffic and niche marketing. Perfect.

So now you have a great way to check your site for Adsense ads and that’s not all. Even if you’ll never put Adsense on your site, it is important to check the relevancy of your page based on your keywords you’re targeting, and Adsense is perfect for it. I”ve also heard tips of actually adding Adsense for about an hour or so, to see what ads are served, but this plugin takes the pain out of creating a new ad, fancying it up and adding the code on your site, which will be taken down later on anyway.
And by the way, don’t worry about clicking on the ads on that preview box, they are not counted by Google, and you won’t get paid (or penalized) for it either.

Wow! that’s an excellent blog. it’s very nice and informative. Thank you!
