What are DoFollow blogs and how to find them

To get backlinks and great traffic from various blogs when commenting on posts, those blogs need to be DoFollow. But what does DoFollow mean anyway?
When you comment on a blog related to your own interest, and if you add your website in the relevant field, when the comment is displayed, the hyperlink will be displayed over your name. As people were spamming the heck out of blogs in order to get backlinks, around 2005, in order to prevent spam, Google introduced something called ‘nofollow’, by simply adding nofollow tags on links (rel="nofollow" attribute). So for example, while anyone visiting that blog and seeing your comment, could always click on your link and land on your page (thus free traffic), now you are no longer getting backlinks to your site from your own comment on that blog post.
Several people however, implemented various plugins and other ways to allow dofollow comments on their blogs for various reasons. Suffice to say, for us, internet marketing, this is a godsend. Why? Because now there are various tools and options to spot right away the nofollow blogs. This way if your sole purpose on commenting on blogs is to get backlinks, you can now safely ignore those nofollow blogs. As simple as that.
So how do you find the dofollow blogs? Well, I am using Firefox as my main browser, and there is a great extension that allows seeing nofollow links. It is called SEO for Firefox, and it does much more than just showing the nofollow links, such as show the site’s PR, and various other useful stats for web marketeers.
On the site, there is also a quite nifty video showing how SEO for Firefox can be installed and the best way to use it.
If you look at the screenshot below, taken from a wiki page, you will notice the links at the bottom highlighted with pink. These are all nofollow links. So if you’ve been thinking to add your own website to wiki for a nice strong pr backlink, you can forget about it. Wiki’s links are all nofollow

Another good plugin for Firefox is NoDoFollow:

I use this plugin in all the time.
