$552 Amazon Earnings For September

My Amazon earnings (and my Adsense earnings as well) seem to increase just a bit every month. To be honest, I’m tickled pink. While Amazon for September is only about $100 more than for August, which regular job can give you a $100 increase every month???

Also my Adsense earnings have increases however only with about $30 or so vs. the previous month. I’m pretty sure this is because I’ve sold 2 earning sites at Flippa, so this cut in my monthly profits. I’ve started however 2 more sites last month (one of which I sold as a starter site to an existing customer of mine), so with this new site getting already some clicks, I should be well on my way to better earnings this month as well.

One of the reasons why I do want to get up my Amazon earnings is because of this fear that all internet marketers have (and I have it as well) of the dreaded Adsense ban. I’d rather not keep all my eggs in one basket if I can help it. While my Amazon earnings right now are still lower than the Adsense earnings, the rate at which it increase beats Adsense to a punch. I guess people do prefer buying physical products more than clicking on the Adsense ads. Either way I’m quite happy with the way September went.

If you’re wondering what made my Amazon earnings increase so nicely, here are my two secret weapons:

Amazonian Profit Plan

Phpzon Amazon Plugin

  1. Congrats! Yes, I know about the “Adsense ban” fear. I’m still wondering what has kept the Xfactor Forum in the closet and if in some way it’s related to this same fear.

Amazon seems a good alternative and I will look into the tools you use for that.

Also, still hoping to hear more from you about the SBI program and how best to use that, if at all.

  2. Being banned from adsense would be a bad thing, but surely there would be an alternative ad program wouldn’t there? It’s good to see your revenue is increasing from month to month. I would like to get into making money with Amazon as well. Does it involve recommending people a product/link on amazon, and then you make a % of the profit from that item?

  3. Hello,

I have a question since I just bought the Amazonian Course. Are you following the exact way they market their money articles or are you using a combination of the tips from Xfactor and the Amazonian plan?

For example, if I have a couple of xfactor websites on page 1 do you just change the content to the way the Amazonian Profit Plan lays it out? O

  4. I’m sorry I accidentally pressed submit on my other comment. My last question was, do you do your keyword research exactly how they lay it out on the book or do you continue doing the xfactor method type of keyword?

  5. Hi Marika! Its so great to see your adsense earnings going up a bit and seeing your success with Amazon. $500+ with Adsense is fantastic! My adsense is slowly returning to what it was prior to mayday but still not at my mini goal of $50 a day. Do you happen to know where to find Steve from the forum? I miss following his thread. He was really inspiring.

  7. Marika – I read this post when you posted it, didn’t comment though but only because I didn’t have the time – congrats on the APP earnings!

I’ve gotta step that up on my end – have had a shoddy month for backlinking my own projects (but my clients love my tools and results!)

Here’s the comment I posted to your question, just in case you’re too busy counting your Amazon loot (that’s an awesome month):

    Marika –

Hey there – um, just for the record I’m a secret fan (you and I seem to be traveling the same direction in terms of business focus, except your leagues down the road). I read your Amazonian Profit Plan articles a while back and it brought me no small comfort to see you approved of it.

Anyhoo – the drop/dance in rankings is what happens whenever I use UAW. It doesn’t happen as much if you set your submissions lower (I had my first submissions set to 50….whoops! I think they need to change that for most niches.). After reading Mike Iser (mikeiser.com) months ago on the matter I found he’d set his submission rate to 10 and that helped a lot.

In my impatience, I set my submissions higher but change my targets to include the web 2.0 rings I set up with Magic Submitter (…when I had it still, oh, doom and gloom and a pox on not having it!).

On recent runs I’ve used UAW for hitting my HubPages, Squidoo, and articles at high PR directories to avoid the bounce. BUT I’ve used UAW directly on sites that are older or where I’m not as concerned about the movement, like on a supporting inner page I wrote just for traffic purposes.

And don’t worry if you don’t read my blog, I could stand to keep learning from you.

  8. I feel stupid looking at my comment – it’s not like you don’t know all of that already. At the same time, I wanted to make sure I answered you properly.

  9. Marika – I’m an idiot or just tired – I didn’t really answer your question very well re: UAW.

You asked what did I think of it -

I have had good results with it, and have been using it for most of the year and ranking well. There are 2 things I don’t like:

    1) The links stick but there is at least a 50% attrition rate. You might get lucky and get hundreds of links – it’s unlikely but happened to me once in a hot niche – but in about 3-6 months you will not retain all the links.

Why this happens is simply the network itself, or Google penalizing sites, not sure – but the articles may be taken down by the blog owners for whatever reason…whatever the cause, the links stick about 1/2 the time.

The workaround is to have multiple sources of links of course, and a constant or regular flow of them. They definitely stick more than most profile links.

    2) The links are not self-indexing, so another solution would be to index the links (ping/RSS or bookmark). Some of the links are indexed, but not nearly all the links you get will show up in Google.

Nonetheless, it does still work. If I had to choose between ArticleRanks and UAW at this point, I’d go with ArticleRanks, you can find my review if you’d like at my domain name +

  10. Ah-ok, great, got you now, thanks! Just replied in your blog comment as well! :)

I think I’ll move on from UAW to AR, not only due to the price but boy, I did get scared with all my sites started dancing and I lost earnings during those two weeks. Ouch!

  12. Thanks for the informative post that you have! I also want to gain more on-line. It is not that easy to increase your sales if you do not have enough knowledge about this adsense thing. I also want to have learn about it, and I agree with harry that you should have to share some tips on how to earn those in a month. Anyways, congrats for the success you have now!
