Received my First Adsense Cheque!

I’m totally excited! Finally I’ve received my very first Google Adsense cheque. It was not much, only $120, but if you know the story behind it, it is a big achievement.

I’ve started with internet marketing last November, making it in less than 2 months from now a one year event. I’m plowing through the months and materials, learning new techniques, making money here and there, but one thing somehow never really took off with me: making money with Adsense. I was tweaking my ads, improving it somewhat, but it was just not working. I was getting per day 50 cents or some days nothing at all. Very seldom was the day when I actually got $1 and I was so excited!

About a good month ago, just before going off for my holidays earlyAugust, I read on the Warrior Forum a thread about Adsense, bought the Adsense guide and I decided to really make it work. I started following the guide to the letter. I mean, I was stuck at $70 for 9 month. I wanted my first Adsense check!

Fast forward 1 month. One day I get an email from Google in the US. Woohoo. I was so excited! I knew that I passed the $100 mark and that the cheque was underway, and I was hoping that it will not get lost or something. And there it was! I went home, opened the envelope and a nice green long check (bit longer than our standard ones) is in my hands. Finally, I made it! I have my Adsense check, of $119 and some change.

Now I know that $119 is very little (particularly converted to Euros it only came to about 75 Euros or something with the bank charges and all), but just think about it. From November until end of next July I was stuck at around $70. From the last few of July until early September, I made the remaining 30, which means not even 2 full months! It took me less than 2 months to make $30.

Oh and that’s not the end of it. Now it’s mid September and I alreave have ’since last payment’ $68.64. In October I will get my next payment. I’m looking at my Adsense payment history and while until June it was stagnating at less than $5 a month, now it’s a nice upward trend.

So you see, there is money to be made with Adsense, and it’s not even difficult at all. The first check already paid for my Adsense Course (and more) and now I’m already in profits. And finally I can say I am no longer stuck in my Adsense income. I so hated seeing the same numbers months and months after!

Having tried pretty much everything out there that is on making money with Adsense, I seriously have to state that the only thing really - and I mean really - working for me is Xfactor’s Micro Niche Adsense Course. Nothing else comes even close to this. This is one of the few products that I honestly endorse, putting it up there high next to Kate’s Site Flipping course and Amy’s blogging course which really started it all for me. As for tools, Micro Niche Finder is the tool that I exclusively used for my Adsense keyword research. Nothing else comes even closer to this. Actually there is one, Market Samurai, but that is just too expensive for me for now. Maybe later I’ll invest in it as well. However John in his Adsense Course also mentions Micro Niche Finder as his tool of choice. I’m just glad that I already have it and could use it right away.

If you’re stuck with Adsense, do yourself a favor and give it a try. This is a proven method to MAKE YOU MONEY! I’ve never lied on how I go ahead with my progress, and Adsense is a progress, indeed. So far it’s still ’small coins’ for some, but for me it’s the startup of serious earnings from Adsense.

  1. Hi Marika,

I too bought John’s Micor Niche Adsense course and started implementing the steps.

At the moment, I am using XSite Pro and have produced 5 sites one of which had 10 pages indexed in Google in under one week.

I have a question for you, are you using XSite Pro or Wordpress?

  2. Hey Khal, thanks for stopping by. I’m using XSitePro 2. It’s awesome and so easy to use! First time when I tried it (me being a wordpress kinda girl) I was a bit scared of it, but when I think about it, its learning curve is easier than that of WP.
Yep, I’ve also noticed that the pages of some of my sites (I have about 7 of these currently up) have been indexed within a week or less.

  3. I was just wondering if you set up tracking on your sites, and if you do, do you keep track of which ones are making you the most money?

For example, have you noticed one or two sites are bringing in most of your money? Or is it spread out pretty evenly between all the sites?

Are the ones ranking well for their keywords the ones making all the money?

Adsense can work for some people but I was just wondering if you had that tracking in place so you know where to focus your efforts, and what trends you’ve noticed from the tracking if any?

    Thanks, james

  4. Hi James,

Yes, I use Google Analytics and channels for each of my ads. I definitely see which ad gives me the most money. For example, I had two ad on one site, a big 336×250 at the top of my site and a thin one (I think it was 120×600 or something similar) on the sidebar. The main one made me in the first month over $30, while the second one only something like $3, if I’m not mistaken. I have taken off the second ad from the site. I’m testing now to see whether the first ad will give me higher amount per click without the other one.

  6. Hi
What are some alternatives to Google Adsense that do not ask for a Social Security #?
