Got myself a new tool

Well, this post is just a bit of a brag, really. The tool has nothing to do with internet marketing, but it has everything to do with being able to afford it due to internet marketing.

I’ve started playing around with Photoshop, as I mentioned in a previous post, and on one of the Photoshop forums, it was mentioned that people use successfully the Wacom pen tablets for precision work. Apparently it goes way better than with a regular mouse. I got curious and started reading more about them. The more I read, the more I liked these tablets. And being a ‘widget’ junkie myself, I just had to get one for myself. Here in Cyprus the choice is rather limited, so I couldn’t get one of the fancier ones, I got myself a Bamboo with less options, but I was glad at least I found something at all! It was not cheap either, cost close to 100 Euros (must be around $150 or something?).

When I went home and showed it to my hubby he said ‘it’s ok, you have the money’. And then it hit me.  Yes, I had the money, not from my regular average whitecollar worker salary, but from my little extra I started making from internet marketing and from site flipping, and suddenly I felt great! I’m by no means a rich person - far from it! I am sadly living from my salary, and at the end of the month I do have to check that I have enough money to pay the bills (those that I pay, and hubby pays the rest), but this time I could afford the tablet! I could pay it with some of the money I have transferred over from my Paypal account from the ‘extra’ internet marketing activities.

Doesn’t it feel great when even something small like this happens, but you know that you’ve actually earned that littel thing with your hard-earned money? Yes, internet marketing does work, I prove it to myself over and over again. Not yet on grand scale. Once a coffee, then a lunch, next a dinner, and now a 100 Euros pen tablet.

So don’t give up, just persist - specially if you’re a newbie and you haven’t made any money in your first few months - just stick with it, the money will come, I’m a prime example of it. I might never become rich from online marketing, but I know that with perseverance, I will make it, I will finally get out of the corporate band-wagon!
