Site flipping for buyers
By Marika on Jul 8, 2009 in Site flipping
I got a sense of nostalgia and decided to visit today some of sites I sold recently. One of them really stood out. I sold a brand new site mid May and now it’s early July. The site is PR 2 already! I have to say I am mighty proud! I am proud because here we have a person who actually took initiative. Bought the site off me, drove traffic to it and now it is a healthy PR2 with tons of backlinks (btw, you can check your backlinks at Yahoo Site Explorer) and I’m pretty sure it must have started making sales for the new owner. How could it not?
Seriously folks, buying brand new sites from people like us, who love setting them up (and setting them up properly) does work. But of course, what you can’t do it leave the site as it is. No, it will not make you money if you leave it like is. But if you invest just a bit in it, if you keep at it, you will have a great revenue site. The potential is there, but you have to reap it, you have to make it true.
All us, website (and blog) designers do is setting you up with a great potential virtual real estate (think of a new house on your own plot). Then you take it over and make it livable (in our case make it your own, advertise it, drive traffic and make money).I’m serious. Site flipping works not only for sellers, but equally the same for buyers as well.
Oh this site deserves a backlink from me, so here it is: diet and health plans. Go check it out and see what you can do with a startup site and bring it easily to success!
